Individual Counseling
Counseling provides clients a personal opportunity to receive support and experience growth or recovery during challenging or stressful times in life. Individual therapy is recommended for the treatment of various problems that may act as a barrier in other areas of your life such as work, relationships, school, etc. This form of therapy does not involve the inclusion of a spouse, partner, or family member. However, a partner or family member may occasionally join a session for the benefit of education and support. Clients may seek counseling for issues such as:

Group Counseling
We naturally and intuitively want to interact and connect with others. Participation in a group often provides a sense of normalcy and connectedness by experiencing the world and issues from another’s perspective. SH Counseling & Consulting offers several different group opportunities throughout the year. These groups provide an opportunity to connect with others who have similar or shared experiences as well as offers a different experience for growth and self-exploration.
